What is it?

Installation Guidelines

1)      toughened glass cannot be drilled or any other processed and edgeworked in any manner

2)      toughened glass ordered to remplate must be accompanied with a full scale template made to the correct dimension

3)      minimum edgework finished on toughened glass to up to 12mm is a standard arrissed edge, minimum edgework on greater thickness should be falt ground edge

4)      slight distortion or bowing may accur after toughening but is largely controllable, it wll vary with substance, tint, surface treatment, size and shape of glass, ceramic painted, sandblasted or reflective coated glass has a greater tendency to bow and special tolerance would be advised flatnesswill be measure when the glass is standing on edge with a straight edge placed along the full length of the panel and a wedge measurement taken at the centre postion, refer to our technical department for more information
